Russia: scrap deliveries to Amurmetal up in May 2018

In May, according to the railroad statistics, direct supplies of ferrous scrap to Amurmetal totaled 46.6 thousand tons.

This is higher than in April by 17.2%, and 10-fold than in May 2017.

In January-May the company received 170 thousand tons of scrap, up 4-fold YoY. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: Rosgeologia to examine coals in Sakhalin

VNIGRIugol, a part of the state holding Rosgeologia, has begun the summer season at the Lakhskaya field in Sakhalin.

The agreement on the work was concluded in autumn 2017.

In January-May Kazakhstan produced 36621 kg of raw and semi-raw gold (powder), up by 7.2% YoY.

In May NLMK-Kaluga shipped 102 thousand tons of rolled metal via railroad, up by 19% MoM, but down by 8.2% YoY.
