Ukraine: DTEK coal output up in Q1 2016

In January-March DTEK mined 7.2 million tons of coal, up by 5.8% YoY. Ukraine: coke output down in April 2016

In April bulk 6% moisture coke output in Ukraine totaled 1134 thousand tons, down by 1.3% MoM, or by 15 thousand tons.

According to Metallurgprom, in January-April Ukraine produced 4444 thousand tons of coke, up by 34.9% YoY, or by 1151 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: PGOK pellets output in January-April 2016

In January-April Poltava Mining and Processing Works, a part of Ferrexpo, produced 3.85 million tons of iron ore pellets.

The company exported 3.99 million tons of pellets to Europe, Near East, Japan, China and Korea.

Ukraine: flat rolled metal export-import in January-April 2016

In April Ukraine exported $152.82 million worth of flat rolled metal, with imports on the level of $39.66 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, one of the main importers of Ukrainian flats was Russia ($22.12 million).

In January-April Ukraine exported $516.54 million worth of flats, while imports totaled $141.01 million. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: steel semis export-import in April 2016

In April Ukraine exported $187.28 million worth of steel semi-finished products, while imports reached $0.72 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, the main importer of steel semis in April was Egypt ($52.38 million).
