Russia: coal exports through Vostochny port up in October 2016

In October Vostochny port (Primorsky Krai) shipped 1.78 million tons of coal, up by 7% YoY.

In 10 months the port transshipped 19.6 million tons of coal, up by 3.4% YoY.

Ukraine: EMSS to supply ingots to Germany

Energomashspetsstal has received an order from Rothe Erde (a part of ThyssenKrupp AG) for the delivery of 500 tons of round ingots.

According to the company statement, the products have to be supplied in December. The ingots will be used to produce various parts. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: metal exports down in January-October 2016

In January-October Ukraine decreased metal exports by 14% YoY, to $5.99 billion, or 20.58% of the total export earnings, as opposed to 22.22% in January-October 2015.

Metal export revenues totaled $621.97 million in October.

Ukraine: safety issues worsen at state mines
