Russia: aluminum exports up in January-August 2018

In August Russia exported 423.3 thousand tons of raw aluminum, up by 42.15% YoY.

In January-August, according to the customs statistics, the exports totaled 2.15 million tons valued at $3910 million, up by 12.2% and by 25.2% YoY respectively.

In August the average prices was $1809 per ton, up by 8.2% MoM. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: scrap deliveries to metal companies to grow in November 2018

The state enterprise Ukrpromvneshekspertisa forecasts that in November the volume of ferrous scrap deliveries to metal companies will grow by 4.4% MoM, to 260 thousand tons.

The forecast for October will drop by 3.9% MoM, to 240 thousand tons.

Ukraine: coal imports up in September 2018

In September Ukraine increased coal imports by 1.5% YoY, to $215.429 million, while exports grew by 99.5%, to $0.034 million. According to the State Fiscal Service, the main supplier was Russia ($136.23 million).
