Ukraine: MGOK and OGOK resume operation

Marganets Mining and Processing Works and Ordzhonikidze Mining and Processing Works resumed their operation.

According to the executive director of Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers Sergey Kudryavtsev, the operation of the companies stopped in December 2015.

In March OGOK produced 7.2 thousand tons of manganese concentrate, while MGOK output totaled 46.4 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)

In 2015 Ordzhonikidze Mine-Repairing Works received 9.35 million UAH of losses.

According to the company statement, its net income went down by 49% YoY, or by 11.95 million UAH, to 12.38 million UAH.

The supervisory board of Kremenchuk Steel Works has appointed Victor Samusenko chairman of the board.
