Ukraine: steel output down in November 2016

In November steel output decreased by 3.1% MoM, or by 62 thousand tons, to 1941 thousand tons.

In November Ukraine produced 1790 thousand tons of rolled metal, up by 6.2% MoM, or by 104 thousand tons.

Kyrgyzstan: 19.9 thousand tons of gold concentrate exported in 2 years

In 2015 Kyrgyzstan exported 9.9 thousand tons of gold concentrate, with 10.1 thousand tons exported in 2016.

Most of the concentrate this year was exported to China.

Russia: Petropavlovsk slashes 2016 gold output forecast

Gomel-Raton Free Economic Zone (Gomel-Raton FEZ) hosted a new resident – KolosEuroTech, planning to manufacture high-precision metal products.

KolosEuroTech is a Belarusian-Polish joint venture, intended to invest more than $1 million in high-precision metal production at Gomel-Raton FEZ.
