Russia: Kosaya Gora ferromanganese output up in January-October 2018

In January-October Kosaya Gora Iron and Steel Works increased ferromanganese sales by 2.3 thousand tons YoY, to 53.6 thousand tons.

In 10 months the works mined 62 thousand tons of ferromanganese, up by 9.1 thousand tons.

In January-October 2018 the company produced 52.9 thousand tons of ferromanganese and sold 51.3 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: Zaporizhstal resumes BF4 operation

Zaporizhstal has put into operation the blast furnace No. 4 after capital repairs.

Investments in the project totaled some 100 million UAH.

The repair lasted for 15 days.

ArcelorMittal Temirtau intends to have completely resumed operation by December 10.

Some shops have already resumed operation after a major pipelines accident on November 10.

Russia: UEM constructs overpass

The Uralelectromed subsidiary (Manufacture of Polymetals) has finished the construction of a main overpass.

The overpass will have 9 pipelines for air, heat, gas and black oil supply.

The preparation to assembly the pipeline will start in December.
