Armenia: 10 out of 27 mines have violations

Out of 27 operating mines in Armenia at 10 violations have been spotted.

The main violations concerned tax obligations.

To remove violations the mines are given 90 days.

Russia: steel deliveries to metal traders down in August 2018

In August, according to railroad statistics, deliveries (including imports) of steel products (rolled metal and pipes) to the bases of the major Russian trade enterprises and networks totaled 0.86 million tons.

This is up by 13.9% YoY.

In 8 months deliveries fell by 0.9% YoY, to 7.2 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: ferrous metals deliveries to metal plants up in August 2018

In August 1.43 million tons of metal were delivered via railroad to the major Russian metal and pipe works.

According to the railroad statistics, this is the increase of 17.6% YoY.

Ukraine: UGOK concentrate output up in August 2018

In August Yuzhniy Mining and Processing Works produced 1038.9 thousand tons of concentrate, up by 0.5% YoY. According to the company statement, sinter output dropped by 36.2%, to 104.6 thousand tons.
