Ukraine: Ukrzaliznytsia sells 18.6 tons of non-ferrous scrap

Ukrzaliznytsia has held an auction to sell non-ferrous scrap.

Steelservice LLC offered 1.8 million UAH for 18.6 tons of copper scrap, or 96.1 thousand tons per ton. The price exceeded the estimated cost 7-fold.

Ukraine: Silur puts new shop into operation

Khartsyzsk steel rope works Silur, situated on the territory of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, a terrorist organization created and supported by Russia, has resumed manufacture of wire and mesh.

In mid-July Ukraine will be visited by Zhao Yang Feng bulker with 75 thousand tons of South African anthracite.

According to DTEK, the ship left Richard’s Bay on June 17.

In January-May Amur Zoloto processed 37465 tons of ore, yielding 456.6 kg of gold and 342 kg of silver at its Yubileyny GOK.

Alluvial gold sites Buor and Ulakhan washed 125.3 thousand cubic meters of sand.

Ukraine: Mariupol Ilyich manufactures new product for France

Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works has shipped a trial batch of S460M plate according to EN 10025-4:2004 to French customers.

“The size of the new type of rolled metal is 12:30 mm”, the company CEO Yuri Zinchenko noted.

Ukraine: Lugansk region coal mining down in January-May 2017

Lugansk miners have decreased coal output this year.

According to the Ministry of energy and coal industry, Lisichanskugol mined 89.8 thousand tons of coal, down by 27% YoY.
