Central Mining and Processing Works has started using biofuel instead of natural gas.
Now the biofuel is used in the pelletizing machine to produce iron ore pellets. Earlier the machine accounted for 95% of CGOK gas consumption.
With this project the company was able to decrease gas consumption in 2021 by 8.5 million cubic meters and expenses by 43.5 million UAH.
Investments in the project amounted to 22 million UAH. (Ukrainian metal)
