The Zhytomyr Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that the court satisfied the claim of the head of the Korostyshiv District Prosecutor’s Office in the interests of the state against Valki-Ilmenit LLC for the recovery of over 6 million UAH of land rent debt.
Presumably, this refers to the decision of the Commercial Court of Zhytomyr Region published on March 23 in case No. 906/938/25 dated March 13.
“The prosecutor’s office proved that the business company is mining titanium ores at the Valki-Hatsk deposit, but in violation of the requirements of land legislation and the terms of the concluded contracts, it systematically does not pay rent for the use of land plots. The court upheld the validity of the prosecutor’s claims and made a decision to collect the debt up to and including June 2025,” the report states.
According to the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor’s Office, during 2025-2026 the company continued to evade payment of lease payments, and therefore the prosecutor’s office is taking measures to collect the debt for the specified period in the amount of UAH 7.6 million and terminate the relevant land lease agreements with an area of 105 hectares.
