Since January 1 Kazatomprom has suspended joint mining of uranium with Cameco at the Inkay deposit.
According to Kazatomprom, the joint venture Inkay has not been allowed to mine uranium because of the delay with submission of the necessary documents.
The company expects the joint venture to present the documents to the Ministry of Energy within 2 weeks.
Kazatomprom owns 60% in the joint venture and Cameco – 40%. (Ukrainian metal)
