Angren Pipe Plant plans to process 12,000 tons of copper raw materials in 2025.
Copper is an important strategic resource, and the reserves of copper at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine alone exceed 40 million tons.
In 2024, 100,000 tons of copper raw materials were sold through the exchange in Uzbekistan, of which 85,300 tons were processed, resulting in products worth 9.4 trillion sums.
Angren Pipe Plant processes copper raw materials to produce copper pipes of various diameters. In 2024, the plant processed 7,500 tons of copper, with 95% of the produced goods being exported. The company also began exporting its products to European markets in the same year.
In 2025, the company plans to process 12,000 tons of copper raw materials and export 10,000 tons of copper products.
The plant was founded in 2013 in the Angren special industrial zone in Tashkent region. The plant’s designed capacity is between 5,000 and 8,000 tons per year. The main raw material – cathode copper with a 99.99% copper content (according to GOST 5462001) – is supplied by Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine. The produced products are primarily aimed at export (85%) and the domestic market (15%). (UzDaily)
