Interpipe Limited intends to buy the share of Vallourec in their joint enterprise Vallourec Niko Tube, which produces steel pipes for the European market.
The corresponding inquiry has been sent to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.
The joint project was shut down in December 2021 because of low capacity, as well as duties.
The joint venture was created in 2018 and reached the capacity of 120 thousand tons of pipes per year in mid-2019. (Ukrainian metal)
