Ukraine: ZALK sees losses in January-September 2018

In January-September Zaporozhye Aluminum Works received 106.578 million UAH of net losses as opposed to 118.692 million UAH of net profit in 9 months of 2017.

The company did not have any net income, while last year it totaled 31.891 million UAH.

This year ZALK has not manufactured anything. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: ZALK profits up in H1 2018

In January-June Zaporozhye Aluminum Works increased its net profit 71.7% YoY, to 390.898 million UAH.

The uncovered losses as of the late June totaled 6.619 billion UAH.

In H1 the works did not produce anything.

In 2017 ZALK decreased net losses 2.9-fold YoY, to 279.486 million UAH. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: ZALK profits in H1 2017

In January-June the only primary aluminum manufacturer in Ukraine – Zaporozhye Aluminum Works – received 227.661 million UAH of net profit against the net losses of 281.994 million UAH in H1 2016.

The company net profit totaled 15.456 million UAH.

Ukraine to sell ZALK by December 2017

The government of Ukraine has ordered to privatize 68.0095% of shares of the Zaporozhye Aluminum Works, 75.224% of Turboatom and 99.999% of Oriana.

According to the government order, the stakes in the above companies will have to be sold on transparent auctions by November 30, 2017. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: ZALK losses down in January-September 2016

In January-September Zaporozhye Aluminum Works, the sole primary aluminum producer in Ukraine, received 527.33 million UAH of losses, down 2.5 times, or by 809.55 million UAH YoY.

According to the company statement, its net income totaled 1 million UAH (no income in January-September 2015).
