Russia: Amur region mines 2.4 million tons of coal

In January-September Amur region yielded 2.4 million tons of coal. Amursky Ugol carries on its program to modernize mining and transport machinery. Thus, new bulldozers appeared at Yerkovetksy and Severo-Vostochniy pits. In 2018 the program will continue. Yerkovetsky pit was put into operation in 1991, Severo-Vostochniy pit – in 1932.
