In 2 years Severstal will spend more than 1 billion rubles to modernize the Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works automobile fleet.

According to Severstal Russian Steel CEO Yevgeniy Vinogradov, in 2019, 64 units of automobiles were purchased. This year it is planned to buy 27 units.

Special machines will provide for the operation of new manufacturing capacities – the blast furnace No. 3 and the coke-oven battery No. 11, which will be commissioned this year.

One of the directions of modernization is the switch to gas vehicles. CherMK is already using 4 of them. (Ukrainian metal)
