In 2019 average wages in metal industry grew by 14% YoY, to 14,242 UAH.
According to the State Statistics Service, in December 2019 salary increased by 5.8% MoM, after falling by 2.9% in November 2019.
The salary growth began in spring 2019, when Metinvest and ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih started increasing wages. Since February 2019 average salary in the industry grew from 12 to 13-14 thousand UAH. (Ukrainian metal)
