In 2019 Severstal with the help of large investment projects, in particular, the national project Ecologiya, decreased air pollution at Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works almost by 23 thousand tons, or by 7.7%.
Investments in the project totaled 5.8 billion rubles.
The project consisted of 15 stages with the expected pollution decrease of over 30 thousand tons.
Last year the company finished 6 stages. (Ukrainian metal)
