Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works is mastering the manufacture of galvanized plates of high-strength steel grades.
This product is in demand from European and domestic manufacturers of metal structures.
Since April 2019, CherMK has been operating a continuous hot-dip galvanizing machine No. 4, which produces cold-rolled galvanized sheet, as well as hot-rolled etched galvanized sheet with the thickness of 2 to 3 mm.
At first the company mastered the manufacture of plates of ordinary steel grades, and then – in late 2019 – the technique was adapted to produce plates of high-strength steel. (Ukrainian metal)
