Russia: Chukotka coal output up in January-October 2017

In January-October Chukotka Autonomous District mined 400.8 thousand tons of coal, up by 83% YoY. Of this volume, Shakta Ugolnaya provided 178.3 thousand tons, down by 19%. The second largest miner in the region is Beringpromugol LLC, developing the Fandyushkinskoye deposits since December 2016. This year the company has mined 222.5 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
