The minister of energy and coal industry Vladimir Demchyshin said, DTEK was stimulating miner strikes in Western Ukraine.
The Ministry for energy and coal industry initiates the provision of state funds to continue construction works at the Novovolynskaya #10 mine and to pay salary to miners.
As of January 1, coal stocks in Ukraine totaled 6399.3 thousand tons, down by 1.2% MoM.
Coal mining in Ukraine (without the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and the ATO Zone) in 2015 fell by 36.8% YoY, to 28.2 million tons.
The Lviv customs office lost 4 million UAH for each day the miners were blocking Lviv – Rava-Russkaya road.
In 2015 Donetsk region companies mined 14.36 million tons of coal.
DTEK has denied the information of its refusal to work with state mines from Lviv and Volyn regions.
