Severstal started assembling the coke dry quenching machine at the construction site of the coke-oven battery No. 11 with the coal charge ramming technique of Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works.
The cost of the investment project is some 33 billion rubles.
The three quenching units will have a combined capacity of 90 tons per hour.
The construction of a 120-meter chimney and a 70-meter coal tower is also underway. (Ukrainian metal)
