On January 2, Lvivugol Stepnaya miners went on a strike demanding salary payment.
“The Lviv region miners have started the new year with a strike! The Independent Miners Union of Ukraine calls for a meeting at Lvivugol to decide what to do to clear payment debts”, said the Union head Mikhail Volynets.
According to his words, as of January 3, the state owes 78% of November salary and 100% of December salary to the miners. (Ukrainian metal)
