In 2024 Ukraine produced 7.58 million tons of steel, up by 21.6% YoY.
According to Ukrmetalurgprom, unlike the previous five months December 2024 was more successful – Ukraine increased steel output by 1.14% MoM, to 547 thousand tons. Since July 2024 the monthly dynamics has been negative.
Ukraine also produced 7 million tons of pig iron, up by 18.1%, with 565.4 thousand tons produced in December 2024.
Rolled metal manufacture showed the lowest growth – by 15.4%, to 6.22 million tons, with 480.8 thousand tons produced in December 2024, up by 0.8% MoM. (Ukrainian metal)
