In January-August, Ukraine increased steel manufacture by 30.8% YoY, to 5.274 million tons.
According to Ukrmetalurgprom, pig iron output grew by 21.8%, to 4.732 million tons.
Rolled metal production totaled 4.318 million tons, up by 26.6%. (Ukrainian metal)
