Luchegorsky Coal Pit (LUR), developing the Bikinskoye coal deposit in Primorye region, in 2019 extracted 4.395 million tons of coal, down by 14% YoY.
The company employed two contractors – SK-Universal LLC and Petrotrade-M LLC.
LUR extracted 3.213 million tons of coal, Petrotrade-M – 391 thousand tons and SK-Universal – 790 thousand tons.
The decrease in output is explained with the drop of consumption at the Primorye Hydropower Plant, the main customer of the company.
This year, LUR intends to extract 4.6 million tons of coal. (Ukrainian metal)
