In December 2019, Russia imported 8.1 thousand tons of aluminum scrap and wastes, up by 77% MoM and 4-fold YoY.
Deliveries from Kyrgyzstan grew 5-fold, to 1.5 thousand tons, and from US – from 2.3 thousand tons to 4.6 thousand tons.
At the same time purchases from Kazakhstan decreased by 5%, to 1.6 thousand tons.
In 2019 imports totaled 35.9 thousand tons, up by 1% YoY, but down by 20% in monetary terms.
