Severstal has begun an active phase of the Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works 4-stand mill technical modernization.
The current capacity of the mill does not allow it producing rolled metal wider than 1850 mm.
The modernized mill will be able to produce rolled metal with the width of up to 2000 mm. (Ukrainian metal)
