Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works has received equipment for the assembly of the hydrochloric (muriatic) acid regeneration machine No. 2.

The construction of the machine is planned under a large-scale program to start producing wide rolled metal valued at some 8 billion rubles.

The machine will be regenerating the used hydrochloric acid and returning it into manufacture.

The contract for the delivery of the main equipment was concluded with Magnatech, Austria.

Elevator and conveyer for the transportation of the iron oxide were produced at Wutra, Germany, while plastic machinery and pipelines for used gas at Plasticon Composites, Poland. (Ukrainian metal)
