Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works has completed a number of capital repairs of its blast furnaces Nos. 4 and 5.
As the result of the repair, the operation life of the BF5, which produces 50% of the CherMK pig iron, will be extended till 2022.
BF4 accounts for the second largest pig iron output at the works.
At the same time CherMK was repairing 4 sintering machines Nos. 4, 9, 10 and 11. (Ukrainian metal)
