Severstal has chosen contractors to carry out construction work of the blast furnace No. 3 at the Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works.
The chief contractor is Domnaremont, a part of Severstal Russian Steel.
Other three subcontractors are UralDomnoRemont from Yekaterinburg, USP from Moscow and Chermetecologia from Cherepovets.
The blast furnace is expected to be blown in the second half of 2020. Its design capacity will be over 3 million tons of pig iron per year. (Ukrainian metal)
