Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works has assembled an electric bridge crane in the steel-smelting shop valued at 40 million rubles.
The crane No. 84 has the lifting capacity of 20.5 tons and will be used to unload slabs and transport steel billets.
“The new crane will improve not only the efficiency of the manufacture and the labor safety level, but also the work places conditions”, Severstal Russian Steel CEO Vadim Germanov commented.
This year CherMK has already commissioned 4 cranes. (Ukrainian metal)
