In September Ukraine dropped to the 13th place in the rating of 67 countries, compiled by the World Steel Association.
China traditionally occupies the first place with 80.85 million tons of steel produced, up by 7.5%.
Ukraine decreased steel output by 7.6%, to 1.787 million tons, losing to Taiwan, which increased steel manufacture by 6.5%, to 1.925 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
