Ukraine: 13th place in world steel output in January-May 2019

According to Worldsteel, in January-May global steel output grew by 5.03% YoY, to 764.07 million tons.

China is a traditional leader with 404.88 million tons, up by 10.19%. China’s share in the world output is 53%.

Ukraine is still on the 13th place with 9.27 million tons produced, up by 6.9%. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: 13th place in world steel output retained in January-April 2019

According to Worldsteel, in January-April steel output in the world totaled 599.86 million tons, up by 4.76% YoY.

China is traditionally in the lead with 314.96 million tons produced, up by 10.14%, and the share of 52.5%

Ukraine produced 7.44 million tons of steel, up by 6.6%, securing the 13th place. (Ukrainian metal)

In January-March, steel output in the world totaled 444.12 million tons, up by 4.48% YoY.

According to Worldsteel, China remained the leader with 231.07 million tons of steel produced, up by 9.92%. China’s share totals 52.02%.
