In January-August, Ukraine produced 4.25 million tons of rolled metal, down by 1.4% YoY.
According to Ukrmetalurgprom, pig iron manufacture grew by 8%, to 5.11 million tons, while steel dropped by 6.8%, to 4.91 million tons.
In August, rolled metal manufacture increased by 14.7% MoM and by 7.4% YoY, to 633.2 thousand tons, and pig iron – by 8% and by 16.1% respectively, to 747.5 thousand tons, but steel decreased by 6% YoY, but grew by 11.8% MoM, to 649.4 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
