In May ferrous metals transportation increased by 10.2% YoY, to 6.5 million tons. Since the start of the year the railroad transported 33 million tons of ferrous metals, up by 11%.
Domestic transportation increased by 20%, and exports – by 5%.
Exports to Turkey and Mexico grew 1.5-fold each, and to US – by 20%.
The demand on the domestic market is supported by infrastructure projects. (Ukrainian metal)
