Ukraine: ferrous metals exports from Donetsk region up in January-September 2018

In January-September Donetsk region received $3.7 billion from exports, up by 14.1% YoY.

Ferrous metals accounted for 81.7%, or $2984.3 million, up by 22.8%.

In particular, ferrous metals accounted for 56.6% of all exports to Russia, 88.4% to Turkey, 93.2% to Italy and 98.9% to US. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: ferrous metals deliveries to machine-builders up in January-August 2018

In August direct deliveries of ferrous metals to railroad machine-building enterprises totaled 126.4 thousand tons.

According to the railroad statistics, this was up by 23.6% YoY.

Russia: ferrous metals deliveries to metal plants up in August 2018

In August 1.43 million tons of metal were delivered via railroad to the major Russian metal and pipe works.

According to the railroad statistics, this is the increase of 17.6% YoY.

Russia: ferrous metals deliveries to railroad machine-building companies up in H1 2018

In June, according to the railroad statistics, direct deliveries of ferrous metals to the enterprises of the railroad machine-building industry reached 137.2 thousand tons.

This is by 57.4% more YoY.

Russia: ferrous metals deliveries to agriculture machinery manufacturers down in H1 2018

In June direct supplies of ferrous metals to the major agriculture manufacturers via railroad totaled 12.5 thousand tons.

This is 5.9% less than in June 2017.

Russia: coal and ferrous metals throughput in seaports up in January-April 2018

In January-April the throughput of Russian seaports totaled 260.1 million tons, up by 3.7% YoY.

According to the Association of Sea Trade Ports of Russia, coal throughput grew by 3.4%, to 49 million tons, and ferrous metals – by 11.1%, to 10.8 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)

In January-February the throughput of Russian seaports grew by 4.4% YoY, to 121.7 million tons.
