In January-June Beloretsk Iron and Steel Works increased steel rope sales by 5% YoY, to 22 thousand tons.
Calf lines for the drilling rigs in oil and gas industry, overhead ground wire as well as ropes for fishing industry and of the general use in lifting machines enjoyed the greatest demand from customers.
Apart from its traditional steel ropes, the works has also sold trial batches of its new import-replacing product – excavator ropes with polymer coating.
BMK accounts for each third ton of steel ropes on the Russian market. (Ukrainian metal)
