In January-April Russia exported 14.319 million tons of ferrous metals, down by 6.1% YoY.

According to the Federal Customs Service, without pig iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap the exports totaled 9.572 million tons, down by 6.1%.

Semi-finished carbon steel products accounted for 5.294 million tons, down by 2.5%.

The export of flat carbon rolled steel was 2.356 million tons, down by 13%.

The share of metal and wares in the overall exports from Russia was 9.7% (10.3% in January-April 2018). The share of exports to the far foreign countries was 9.2% (10%) and to the CIS countries – 12.9% (12.6%). (Ukrainian metal)
