According to the Federal Customs Service, in January-June Russia exported 20.713 million tons of ferrous metals, down by 3.5% YoY.

In particular, exports to far foreign countries amounted to 17.75 million tons, up by 6.3%, valued at $7.4 billion, while exports to the CIS countries increased by 18.2%, to 2.96 million tons ($1.5 billion).

Steel pipes exports went up by 71.5%, to 369.3 thousand tons valued at $510.2 million in H1, with foreign countries share increasing by 93%, to 174.3 thousand tons valued at $350.7 million, and CIS – by 56%, to 195 thousand tons at $159.5 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
