The Cabinet of Ministers has freed the operations with ferrous and non-ferrous scrap from VAT until January 1, 2027. The decision was taken on March 21. The previous decision was taken in late December 2018. Then VAT cancellation was valid till January 1, 2022. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukrzaliznytsia was able to successfully carry out only one out of 11 scrap auctions, having received 5.948 million UAH from the sales.
