In January, the enterprises of the Ukrtruboprom Association increased pipe output 2.5-fold YoY, to 69.2 thousand tons. In particular, Interpipe Niko Tube increased output 4.2-fold, Trubostal by 60%, Centravis (stainless pipes) – by 29% and Interpipe NMTZ (electric-welded pipes) – almost 14-fold. Georgia’s imports of ferroalloys from January through November 2021 amounted to $2.5 million, up by 131.4% YoY, the National Statistics Office (Geostat) reported. In January, Ukraine exported 5.69 thousand tons of scrap, down by 70.4% YoY. According to the State Customs Service, in monetary terms exports dropped by 56.9%, to $2.58 million.
