In January, Ukraine exported 5.69 thousand tons of scrap, down by 70.4% YoY.

According to the State Customs Service, in monetary terms exports dropped by 56.9%, to $2.58 million.

Scrap imports fell by 92.8%, to 150 tons valued at $53 thousand, down by 98.4%.

The main suppliers were Bulgaria (59.62% in monetary terms), Russia (16.67%) and Estonia (9.26%), while the main customers were Turkey (57.34%), Poland (19.24%) and Germany (13.51%). (Ukrainian metal)
