The Ukrainian Association of Secondary Metals is studying the global experience of processing military machines for scrap.
According to Interpipe Vtormet chairman Valentin Makarenko, there was a shortage of scrap in Ukraine, but the material had been found.
“We will process it. It’s a necessary product for us,” he said.
He added, that only useless military machines could be considered a scrap.
“Working machines are war trophies,” he noted. (Ukrainian metal)
