Ukraine: scrap procurement down in H1 2022

In January-June, Ukraine exported 28.7 thousand tons of metal scrap, down 8-fold YoY. Imports dropped 8.4-fold, to 1.5 thousand tons. Scrap procurement fell by 64.1%, to 710 thousand tons. Metal companies received 659.4 thousand tons of scrap, down by 60.1%. As of July 1, stocks amounted to 60 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
