Ukraine: pipe output down in January-February 2015

In January major Ukrainian pipe companies decreased their output of ferrous pipes by 10.1%, to 78.3 thousand tons, YoY. In December 2014 pipe output was 94.3 thousand tons, in November 2014 – 102.3 thousand tons.
Interpipe, one of Ukraine’s largest steel pipemakers, will not supply any products to Russia in 2015 due to a slump in the Russian rouble and prohibitive import duties, the company said in a statement.
