In January-February major Ukrainian pipe companies produced 141.3 thousand tons of ferrous pipes, down by 29.8% YoY. In February pipe output was on the level of 59.5 thousand tons.
Khartszysk Pipe Works, situated in the anti-terrorist operation zone, increased its output by 75.5%, to 16.5 thousand tons, YoY, at the same time in February the works was idle.
Interpipe-NTZ produced 38.3% less pipes than in January-February 2014 (32.2 thousand tons, with 16.5 thousand tons in February), while Interpipe NMTZ manufactured 13.6 thousand tons (6.1 thousand tons in February) and Interpipe Niko Tube – 49.2 thousand tons (21.1 thousand tons), down by 58.4% and 14.3% YoY respectively.
Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works produced 1.3 thousand tons of pipes as opposed to 5.8 thousand tons in January-February 2014.
Lugansk Pipe-rolling plant was still idle in January-February.
Kominmet decreased its pipe output by 26.1%, to 22.6 thousand tons (12.4 thousand tons in February), Centravis – increased by 8.8%, to 3.7 thousand tons of stainless pipes (1.8 thousand tons). AG Stahl was idle in January-February, while a year ago it produced 2.8 thousand tons of pipes. And Dniepropetrovsk Tube Works produced 1.4 thousand tons (0.2 thousand tons), down by 78.5% YoY.
