In 2024 Ukraine exported 293.19 thousand tons of ferrous scrap, up by 60.7% YoY.
Revenue grew by 73.2%, to $91.311 million.
The main customer was Poland (81.8% in monetary terms), followed by Greece (13.75%) and Germany (3.19%).
Last year Ukraine imported 104 tons of scrap for $110 thousand, down from 1.075 thousand tons for $411 thousand in 2023.
The main supplier was Turkiye (64.55%), followed by the British Virgin Isles (16.36%) and Panama (8.18%). (Ukrainian metal)
