Kazakhstan and Congo may cooperate in exploration and development of rare-earth mineral deposits. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said this at the meeting with the President of the Republic of Congo Denis Sassou-Nguesso in Akorda.
The Head of State noted the importance of boosting cooperation between the two countries is mining sector.
“As is known, both countries possess rich natural resources. There is an opportunity to cooperate in exploration and development of deposits of iron, phosphate, bauxite and other rare-earth minerals. During the talks, I said that Kazakhstani businessmen were ready to explore mining sector of Congo,” the Kazakh President said. (Kazinform)
